Former President Donald Trump announced on social media that he agreed to take part in a fourth debate against President Biden. Instead, Biden’s campaign is only willing to agree to two debates under specific conditions set by them, such as choosing moderators and the ability to mute Trump’s microphone.

Many Republicans are eager for Trump to debate Biden again, especially reaching out to the Hispanic community which they believe Biden has not been supportive of. Trump emphasized in his social media post the importance of addressing issues like high gas prices, crime, and border security that impact the Hispanic community. The former president also highlighted his willingness to participate in debates hosted by various media outlets.
The Biden campaign has only confirmed their participation in two debates with Trump – one on CNN and another on ABC News. They have rejected offers from Fox News and are not expected to accept the invitation for the NBC/Telemundo debate. Biden’s team stated that they have set clear terms for the debates, and they do not want any further confusion or alterations to the agreed-upon terms.
It is disappointing to see President Biden not willing to engage in more debates with his opponent.
