Biden Leans Left with New Climate Plans Amid Criticism and Voter Distrust

This week, President Joe Biden made some big decisions that show he’s leaning even more to the left when it comes to climate regulation. He vowed to ban gas stoves and dug deeper into the federal treasury to help out college students and people on road trips looking for cheaper gasoline. However, his actions have not been without criticism. Some argue that he is trying to buy votes with his student loan forgiveness plan and by using the Strategic Oil Reserves to lower gas prices.

On the international stage, the Biden administration’s stance on foreign policy has come under scrutiny. In the Israel-Hamas conflict, there hasn’t been any progress in Gaza. Additionally, there was controversy when the administration honored Ebrahim Raisi, who was known for his harsh treatment of political prisoners during his time as the President of Iran.

Conservative grader Jed Babbin gave President Biden a failing grade for his actions this week. Babbin criticized Biden’s decision to release barrels of gasoline from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, as well as the president’s student loan forgiveness plan, which he argued goes against the law and the Constitution. Babbin also highlighted Biden’s move to veto legislation that would overturn his regulations on gas stoves and furnaces.

Meanwhile, Democratic pollster John Zogby pointed out that the presidential race remains tight and predicted a potential drop in voter turnout in the upcoming election. He also mentioned that the level of trust in both Biden and former President Donald Trump is low, making it difficult for voters to make a decision.

Overall, it seems that President Biden’s actions this week have sparked both criticism and concern. The debate about his policies and their impact on the nation continues to create a divided public opinion.
