A ceremony was held by the White House to showcase their efforts to significantly tighten gun control laws. President Joe Biden celebrated by increasing Second Amendment restrictions after signing bipartisan legislation that just about made it through Congress.
In his remarks on the White House lawn on Monday, Biden hailed the president's signing of a gun control measure that tightens background checks for anyone under the age of 21. The statement was made in response to recent mass shootings that were observed by US citizens in Uvalde, Texas, and Buffalo, New York.
The action we take today on gun violence is a step designed to make our nation the kind of nation it should be.

He also stated that, while having earlier claimed that the Second Amendment was not unqualified, he still supports it. In addition, Biden cited CDC evidence to back up his assertion that gun violence kills more children in the US than any other factor. Critics of the assessment point out that it lacks differences based on age groups as one of its issues.
Then, Biden pressed Congress to pass legislation holding gun owners responsible for failing to secure their firearms at home and called for a ban on assault weapons.
