In a fiery interview with Laura Ingraham, Speaker Mike Johnson expressed his outright disgust with the Senate’s so-called “border security” deal. And let me tell you, folks, it’s a doozy. Not only does this bill give away a whopping $65 billion to Ukraine, but it does next to nothing to actually secure our border. It’s like trying to fix a leaky faucet with a band-aid – it’s laughable!
Now, some people might argue that the changes in asylum rules or the “emergency provisions” will make a difference, but really, who are they fooling? The border won’t fully shut down until we have 5,000 illegal entries in a single day, and work permits will be handed out like candy. It’s an open invitation for more people to come flooding in.

But here’s the kicker, folks. Even if those things were actually beneficial, it wouldn’t matter. Why, you ask? Because this bill grants the Biden administration the authority to ignore any emergency provisions that supposedly kick in under the guise of “national interest.” That’s right, they can just ignore the rules whenever they feel like it. It’s like giving a child a cookie and telling them not to eat it – they’re gonna do it anyway!
When Speaker Johnson joined Ingraham for the interview, he wasted no time in declaring this bill dead on arrival in the House. And honestly, I couldn’t agree more. He made it crystal clear that this bill would only further incentivize illegal immigration and do nothing to fix our broken asylum system or parole process. It’s like slapping a band-aid on a broken leg – it’s not gonna solve anything!
But Speaker Johnson didn’t stop there, folks. He took aim at Senator Chuck Schumer and President Joe Biden for their role in this whole mess. He let them know loud and clear that the American people are in charge here, and they are fed up with this catastrophe. The border crisis affects every state, not just the ones on the border, and it’s time for action.
And let me tell you, folks, the cold hard truth is that President Biden already has the authority to fix this crisis. He doesn’t need this bill to do what needs to be done. Thankfully, the House isn’t having any of it. They’re ready to set this bill on fire, and even Senator Mitch McConnell is encouraging his members to vote against it.
