This isn’t alarmism — it’s outrage at a White House that chose ideology over enforcement and paid the price in chaos at our borders. We owe it to hardworking families to call this what it is: a policy failure with real victims.
The numbers tell the story in cold, unarguable terms — encounters at our borders have surged to historic highs, with CBP reporting record-breaking totals in recent fiscal years as illegal flows exploded. Millions of enforcement encounters since 2021 show the border has been transformed from a manageable challenge into a national crisis under Biden’s watch.
Worse still, congressional investigators and homeland security officials have documented that hundreds of individuals who triggered terror-watch indicators were encountered at the Southwest border during the Biden years, a dramatic increase over prior administrations. Lawmakers warned that between fiscal year 2021 and 2024, the number of encounters involving people on watch lists rose sharply, and those figures should terrify every patriot.
We’ve even seen concrete, chilling examples: men with alleged ties to ISIS who crossed illegally and were later arrested in U.S. cities after law enforcement pieced together intelligence. These arrests — and the reports that some dangerous individuals slipped through because of flawed vetting and release policies — underscore how reckless the administration’s approach has been.
How did this happen? A combination of policy choices — from dismantling proven enforcement tools to deploying systems like the CBP One interview scheme that critics say have been gamed by smugglers — created openings cartels and bad actors exploited. Conservative experts have documented how those policies inflated encounters and freed immigration loopholes that should never have existed.
Patriots don’t panic — we act. It’s time for a return to tough, common-sense border security: restore rigorous vetting, reinstate effective removal practices, shut down the CBP One loopholes, and hold the cartels and those who enable them accountable.
