Time is a tricky thing in politics. If you have too much of it, your enemies can find ways to attack you. But if you waste it, you might end up losing on Election Day. That’s the situation Joe Biden finds himself in. He was so sure that Donald Trump would be an easy opponent in 2024, but he failed to realize that voters aren’t exactly thrilled with him either.

One big reason why Biden is struggling is because of Bidenomics. The economy is shaky, and inflation is still high. Americans are feeling the pinch, and they’re not happy about it. On top of that, Biden can’t seem to handle natural disasters or go more than a couple of days without taking a vacation. And let’s not forget about the billions of dollars he’s sending overseas to Ukraine, a country that’s not exactly our friend.
I used to think that Trump’s baggage would be a problem, but now there’s new evidence in a bribery scandal involving Biden. This could change everything. Even CNN, not exactly a Trump-friendly network, is saying that we should stop assuming Trump can’t win in 2024. Biden’s approval ratings are in the toilet, and most Americans think we’re heading in the wrong direction.
Biden’s recent trip to Maui was a disaster. He waited two weeks to visit the island after a devastating wildfire, squeezing in two vacations in the meantime. And when he finally did show up, he fell asleep at a memorial event and told a ridiculous story about surviving a kitchen fire. It was embarrassing.
But it’s not just white men who are losing faith in Biden. Men of color, a key voting bloc for Democrats, are feeling discouraged and pessimistic. They’re starting to realize that neither party is really looking out for them. Trump was able to capitalize on this frustration in 2016, and he could do it again in 2024.
It’s not looking good for Biden and the Democrats. The economy is a mess, voters are losing faith, and even their own supporters are starting to doubt them. Biden is no Obama, and he can’t count on the same kind of electoral magic. And let’s not forget that Trump could be his opponent again, and both of them could be facing legal troubles. It’s going to be a wild ride.
