The contrast between how America handles China under different administrations couldn’t be any clearer. While Joe Biden’s time in the White House often appears to have been about enriching his family, Donald Trump’s dealings with China have been all about putting America first. Under Biden, we’ve seen a parade of personal ties with China linked to his son’s questionable business endeavors. It seems like Hunter Biden got special treatment everywhere he went – from cash to diamonds and backdoor deals. Biden’s Treasury Secretary even dared to reset economic ties with China, conveniently ignoring a growing trade deficit that’s crippling America’s economy.
Biden’s approach to China can be described as soft, naïve, and sometimes outright foolish. His administration was ridiculed in talks with China, where the nation took the opportunity to flip the narrative on America, pointing fingers at supposed human rights abuses, all while China continues its oppressive policies at home. Biden’s team was dismissed like amateurs in these talks, proving just how toothless his diplomats have become. Meanwhile, their decision to scrap the Trump-era “China Initiative,” which scrutinized China’s “Belt and Road Initiative,” only helped to solidify America’s vulnerability on the world stage.

In sharp contrast, Trump never shied away from putting America first. His negotiations with China were stronger and more focused on reducing unfair trade practices. His tariffs were a powerful tool designed to protect American workers and businesses, not to fill his or his family’s pockets. Trump was all about securing a deal that benefited everyday Americans, while Biden looked out for his son’s financial bottom line. The Trump administration’s new deal is reportedly toughening up regulations against China’s unfair practices, allowing American businesses a fair shake in competing with their Chinese counterparts.
Americans need a leader who is serious about national interests, not personal gains. Hunter Biden’s shady business dealings and Joe Biden’s feigned ignorance of them make it crystal clear where their priorities lie. If anyone still doubts what’s at stake, look no further than Joe Biden’s willingness to overlook China’s spying activities, fearing that challenging them too directly would be inconvenient. Trump’s administration would never allow such blatant disregard for American sovereignty.
So, the question remains: Why would one choose a leader who enriches his family over a leader who stands up for America? Because in this tale of two leaders and their China deals, only one is committed to putting his country first.
