The Biden Justice Department is attacking Chicago’s first black mayor for doing what Democrats always do – playing racial games. Mayor Brandon Johnson bragged about hiring black officials, then got caught. Now the Feds are investigating him for discrimination against whites. This is the radical left eating their own.
Johnson stood in a church and listed his black hires like trophies. He named deputy mayors, budget directors, and advisors by race. His administration is 45% black in a city that’s 29% black. Even liberals know this looks bad. The DOJ says he might’ve broken civil rights laws meant to protect everyone.
The mayor claims his team is “the most diverse.” But diversity shouldn’t mean quotas. Real leaders hire the best people – not the right skin color. This isn’t 1960s Alabama. Forcing racial bean-counting insults both black workers and white taxpayers funding these jobs.
Trump’s DOJ would’ve crushed this racism. But Biden’s team only acts because Johnson got too loud about his bias. They’re scared of looking soft before the election. Conservatives have warned for years that “equity” hiring punishes qualified candidates. Now we’ve got proof.
Hardworking Chicagoans deserve better. City workers should be hired for skills – not skin color. These jobs handle budgets, infrastructure, and public safety. Imagine a 911 dispatcher chosen for race instead of quick thinking. Lives could be at stake.
The radical left wants to replace merit with melanin. They call it “representation,” but it’s just discrimination with prettier words. True equality means colorblind hiring. America built the greatest nation by judging character, not chromosomes.
Johnson claims critics hate black success. Nonsense. Patriots hate racial favoritism. When a white conservative does this, he’s crucified. But Democrats get passes for racism against whites and Asians. This double standard must end.
The investigation might stop Chicago’s woke hiring spree. But real change needs voters to reject racial politics. Hire the best. Fire the rest. That’s the American way. Until then, expect more chaos from cities run by radical race-baiters.
