While the cancellation of Biden’s Jordan summit may not come as a complete shock given the chaotic circumstances, it’s disappointing to see yet another foreign policy initiative derailed. One can’t help but wonder if the Biden administration was adequately prepared for the challenges that inevitably arise in the Middle East.
