The latest campaign ad from Joe Biden is a real doozy. In a slickly produced video, Biden hammers home the idea that Trump is to blame for the erosion of Roe v. Wade, thanks to the conservative Supreme Court justices he appointed. The ad highlights Trump’s boastful tweet about “killing” Roe v. Wade and paints a doomsday scenario of what will happen if he gets another four years in office.
Of course, the ad wouldn’t be complete without some fear-mongering. Biden throws in footage from the January 6th Capitol incident and references alarmist articles from publications like “Rolling Stone,” the New York Times, and NBC News, all warning of Trump’s supposed plans to ban abortion nationwide, birth control, and even IVF. But let’s be real here: Republicans aren’t out to get IVF or birth control. In fact, the GOP has shown support for IVF, with the National Republican Senatorial Committee urging candidates to reaffirm their backing for fertility treatments.
A voiceover in the ad says Dobbs was the first time the Sup. Ct. "took away" a "widely recognized constitutional right." Tell that to those who believed in "separate but equal." https://t.co/NBEYC93z5a

The truth behind the Democrats’ push for a contraceptive bill is revealed as well. It would have coerced religious organizations to provide contraception and gender-affirming care, infringing on their religious beliefs. Yet, this crucial detail often gets lost in the Democrats’ narrative of Republicans interfering with “reproductive rights.”
Despite Biden’s attempts to demonize Trump, the ad inadvertently highlights Trump’s ability to deliver on promises, such as reshaping the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade potentially. If Trump could achieve the seemingly impossible, what else could he accomplish in a second term? Maybe a major overhaul of government agencies or a transformative tax code revision? Biden may inadvertently make Trump more appealing to voters with these narratives.
Ultimately, Biden’s ad may backfire by inadvertently portraying Trump as a decisive leader who gets things done, which could resonate with many conservative Americans. Who would have thought Biden’s campaign strategy would inadvertently boost Trump’s image? The irony is strong, but Biden's unintentional campaign assistance for Trump is not lost on astute observers.
