The government-backed agencies have been labeled as “mal-information” some accurate content just because it didn’t align with their narrative. It’s a clear abuse of power, trying to control the flow of information to fit their agenda.
And let’s not forget the strong-arm tactics! Threats of anti-trust actions and changes to Section 230 have been thrown around like candy on Halloween. Biden himself has gone as far as to say these platforms are “literally killing people” unless they bend to the government’s will. Talk about overreach and manipulation!
There’s a light at the end of this dark tunnel. Instead of playing tug-of-war over what’s allowed and what’s not, why not just make everything transparent? Require these online giants to spill the beans on every little chat with the feds. Let’s see who’s calling the shots behind the scenes and shine a spotlight on any attempts to stifle free speech.
