In yet another display of shocking incompetence, the Biden administration’s reckless handling of migrant children is finally being exposed. Thousands of vulnerable young souls were placed into unvetted homes. That’s right, the government agency responsible for their safety—the Department of Health and Human Services—failed to conduct proper checks on over 11,000 caretakers. This isn’t just a bureaucratic oversight; it’s a blatant disregard for the well-being of these children, sacrificed on the altar of political expediency.
Some will say this was a surprise, but under liberal leadership, this is the kind of negligence we’ve come to expect. The progressive agenda prioritizes appearances over actual safety, and vulnerable children under Biden’s watch have yet again paid the price. Astonishingly, such oversight is tolerated in the name of open-door policies and unchecked immigration.

Between January 2021 and January 2025, over 79,000 children were processed, yet only a fraction of those were given proper home assessments. Grassley’s relentless digging found that 11,000 kids were thrown into the arms of strangers without safety checks. The Biden administration prioritized speed and political optics over children’s lives, catching mainstream media and the usual liberal defenders in their silence.
Now, under more competent oversight, the administration is scrambling to clean up the mess it created. It’s reassuring to see the efforts led by those committed to true reform, those who understand that safeguarding children’s futures is non-negotiable. Historians will look back at the Biden era, shaking their heads at the lost innocence of a generation kept in danger by policy blunders and weak leadership.
The question remains, though: How much longer must we endure leadership that disrespects our nation’s core values and jeopardizes the safety of the innocent?
