Leonard Peltier, a convicted killer of FBI agents, is now walking free, thanks to Joe Biden’s last-minute clemency decision. On his way out of the White House, Biden decided to throw law enforcement under the bus with this outrageous act. It was a slap in the face to every American who believes in justice and safety. One has to wonder, was this a decision of ignorance or incompetence? Either way, it’s an insult.
Year after year, President after President chose to maintain the verdict against Peltier. Although activists and Hollywood elites tried to paint him as a victim, the conviction stood firm under the weight of evidence. Now, in a sudden twist, Biden decided to play politics with justice. No explanation, no warning — just a stroke of a pen setting a dangerous precedent.

The silence from Biden’s camp is deafening. No public remarks or face-the-nation interviews to explain why this happened. Where is the transparency the left always preaches? The whole thing reeks of shady backroom dealings. Autopen or not, this decision leaves more questions than answers. Does Biden even know what he signed, or did someone else steer this debacle?
This situation does more than release a convicted murderer. It sends a chilling message to our law enforcement community that their dedication and sacrifice are expendable. It tells the world that political convenience can override justice. Families of fallen agents are left to question if their loved ones’ lives were just pawns for liberal grandstanding.
Biden’s pardon of Peltier reveals more about his administration’s disregard for law enforcement than any policy speech ever could. America deserves leadership that values justice, not one that bends the knee to activist pressure. How long will we suffer under a political culture that dismisses the brave men and women who keep this nation safe? Perhaps it’s high time we stop expecting anything less than chaos from a President who seems more concerned with pandering than protecting.
