In a shocking turn of events, billionaire Bill Gates has made an unexpected move that has conservatives shaking their heads. Despite being the subject of conservatives’ ire for his questionable investments and close ties to liberal causes, Gates has now decided to jump on the Bud Light bandwagon. Yes, you heard it right, the man who claims he’s “not a big beer drinker” has purchased a whopping 1.7 million shares from Bud Light’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch InBev, through his Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Trust. Talk about a betrayal!
This new purchase comes hot on the heels of Gates’ previous investment in Heineken stock, a move that had conservatives scratching their heads. It seems that Gates has a love for beer companies, or maybe it’s just a love for investing in companies that don’t align with conservative values. Regardless, this latest purchase is sure to ruffle some feathers.
Conservatives have been boycotting Bud Light ever since the beer giant decided to partner with the controversial trans influencer, Dylan Mulvaney. And now, instead of standing with the conservative base, Gates is throwing his money behind this misguided partnership. It’s truly a slap in the face to conservative values and a clear example of Gates’ allegiance to liberal causes.
Despite the decline in U.S. sales and the ongoing boycott, analysts are quick to point out that Anheuser-Busch has found success in other parts of the world. But let’s not be fooled by these attempts to soften the blow. The fact remains that Bud Light’s sales have taken a serious hit in the U.S., all thanks to the boycott led by conservatives who refuse to support companies that promote liberal agendas.
While Bud Light may be desperately trying to win back customers with their “biggest NFL campaign ever,” conservatives are not so easily swayed. We see through their deceptive tactics and we are not willing to compromise our values for a watered-down beer with a liberal agenda.
It’s disheartening to see Bill Gates, a figure of influence and wealth, continue to make choices that go against conservative principles. With every investment he makes, he further alienates himself from the conservative base. Perhaps it’s time for Gates to reconsider his priorities and start using his wealth to support causes that align with conservative values. Until then, conservatives will be raising a glass of something other than Bud Light to celebrate their principled stance. Cheers to that!
