The House Oversight Committee moved quickly, voting to issue a subpoena to compel Singham’s testimony after members argued his network of nonprofits operates like a dark-money conduit for radical groups. Republicans on the committee, led by Chairman Comer and Luna, made clear they will pursue contempt or other enforcement measures if he refuses to answer for how his cash was used.
Make no mistake about who we’re dealing with: congressional investigators and committee documents say Singham has ties to entities and media operations with links to the Chinese Communist Party and that his funds were routed through opaque nonprofit vehicles to groups like the Party for Socialism and Liberation and other radical outfits. That pattern — foreign-linked money, hidden transfers, and rapid deployment of street-level chaos — reads like a playbook for sowing discord on American soil.
Luna and Comer have even asked the Treasury to evaluate whether sanctions or asset freezes are appropriate and raised the very real possibility of FARA violations, because Americans deserve to know whether foreign interests are covertly shaping unrest in our cities. This is a national-security issue dressed up as protest, and our institutions must stop treating it like another cable-news controversy.
Patriots should be outraged but not surprised: for years a well-funded protest-industrial complex has masqueraded as grassroots outrage while big money and foreign-friendly operatives pull the strings. The same elites who cheer these mobs on from Manhattan and Silicon Valley now want to gaslight the public into believing these uprisings were spontaneous — hardworking Americans know the difference between genuine grievance and organized chaos backed by ideological billionaires.
Congressional subpoenas and Treasury probes are exactly the kind of hard answer this moment demands, and conservatives should stand behind investigators who refuse to let our cities be battlegrounds for foreign influence. Hold the line — pressure the DOJ, the FBI, and federal law enforcement to follow the facts, freeze assets where warranted, and put an end to foreign-funded attempts to destabilize the United States.
