Watching Bob Brooks on American Agenda cut through the nonsense was refreshing for anyone who values law and order. Brooks rightly called out Democrats for turning a blind eye to chaos while cozying up to illegal immigration activists who would rather sabotage enforcement than secure our communities.
The backdrop for his fury is real: federal ICE operations have stepped up, and even the acting ICE director warned that the political rhetoric from sanctuary leaders is putting officers and neighborhoods in danger. Those enforcement actions — which included mass arrests in Southern California — sparked the predictable left-wing panic instead of sober debate about public safety.
Meanwhile, Democratic officials have spent their time defending people who broke our laws instead of backing the men and women who risk their lives to enforce them. Los Angeles’ progressive leadership went so far as to denounce lawful ICE operations as “terror,” signaling they’d rather play politics than protect citizens from violent criminals and cartels.
Republicans on the Hill aren’t buying the charade either, and Rep. Greg Steube nailed the motive: Democrats are “going to bat” for illegal immigrants because they see a political payoff. That cynical calculation — putting power and future voters ahead of the safety of everyday Americans — should outrage every patriot who pays taxes and obeys the law.
If you needed proof the left has moved past policy into intimidation, anti-ICE activists in Los Angeles have been posting flyers with names, photos and phone numbers of federal agents, a tactic the DHS and FBI are now investigating as dangerous and unlawful. These aren’t peaceful protesters — they’re putting targets on the backs of officers and inviting violence while Democrat politicians applaud or look the other way.
Hardworking Americans deserve leaders who defend the rule of law, not elected officials who profile and punish law enforcement for doing their jobs. It’s time to stop pretending that open borders and anti-ICE crusades are compassion; they are a direct threat to public safety and our sovereignty, and conservatives will keep fighting to restore order and protect American communities.
