Tom Homan, President Trump’s border czar, is cracking down on sanctuary cities like Boston and New York. He says liberal leaders care more about protecting illegal immigrants than keeping Americans safe. Homan isn’t backing down, even as Democrats and judges try to stop him.
Homan blasted Boston’s sanctuary policies, warning the city’s police commissioner to “take that badge off” if he won’t help ICE. He promised to flood Boston with federal agents to hunt down criminals. Mayor Michelle Wu fired back, claiming crime is at historic lows. But Homan says her policies let child rapists and drug dealers walk free.
Over 370 illegal immigrants were arrested in a recent Boston sting. Many had serious charges, like sex crimes and drug trafficking. Homan says ICE had to track them down because local jails refused to cooperate. “We’re taking threats off the streets,” he said. Critics call it fearmongering, but Homan says public safety comes first.
New York is next on Homan’s list. He slammed Governor Hochul for blocking ICE from jails and letting illegals get driver’s licenses. “Change your laws or we’ll send twice as many agents,” he warned. Republican lawmakers praised Homan for standing up to New York’s “dangerous” policies.
The liberal media attacks Homan daily, but he doesn’t care. “This isn’t a popularity contest,” he says. When a judge tried halting deportations, Homan defied the order. “I don’t care what judges think,” he declared. Flights full of gang members already left for Venezuela.
Homan works closely with groups like the Heritage Foundation to draft tough immigration rules. He wants every illegal immigrant gone, starting with the worst criminals. “If you broke our laws, you’re on the list,” he said. Critics scream about rights, but Homan asks: “What about victims’ rights?”
Democrats claim Trump’s policies are cruel, but Homan says results speak for themselves. Crime rates drop wherever ICE operations hit. He urges Congress to fund more agents and detention centers. “We’ll deport as many as we can,” he vowed.
The border czar says liberal cities will regret opposing Trump. “We’re just getting started,” Homan warned. With deportation flights roaring and ICE teams growing, he’s turning promises into action. Love him or hate him, Tom Homan isn’t stopping until every sanctuary city feels the heat.
