Republican Senator Ted Cruz from Texas is now calling for President Joe Biden’s impeachment after a classified FD 1023 document revealed a criminal scheme that involves a foreign national and then-Vice President Biden. The Republicans claim that the scheme was regarding the exchange of money for a policy decision, which they consider to be a high crime and misdemeanor.

Senator Cruz expressed that the evidence against Hunter Biden and Joe Biden is getting stronger and stronger each week. He also mentioned that bribery is explicitly noted in the constitution. In a recent interview with Sean Hannity, he stated, “Bribery is explicitly noted in the constitution, and the evidence against Hunter Biden and Joe Biden being complicit and profiting from this corruption is growing and growing every week.” Cruz’s call for Biden’s impeachment, along with Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene’s recent statement calling for his impeachment, is likely to draw a strong reaction.

Yesterday, an unclassified whistleblower disclosure was received by the United States Congress, stating that the Federal Bureau of Investigation possessed a document linking Biden to a criminal bribery scheme. The whistleblower described the alleged scheme in detail, including the exchange of money for policy decisions.
Representative James Comer and Senator Chuck Grassley said in a joint statement, “The DOJ and the FBI appear to have valuable, verifiable information that you have failed to disclose to the American people.” The statement further continued, “Therefore, Congress will proceed to conduct an independent and objective review of this matter, free from those agencies’ influence.”
In addition, The Washington Post has reported that prosecutors are nearing a decision on whether to charge Hunter Biden with tax fraud and firearms-related offenses, marking the end of the four-year investigation.
Senator Cruz believes that the evidence against Hunter is likely to result in an indictment by the Biden Department of Justice. However, he fears that if the Biden Department of Justice focuses solely on individual crimes to Hunter and fails to address public concern about the connection to Joe Biden, it would be a clear indication that they are trying to protect the President.
Apart from discussing the Biden corruption scandal, Senator Cruz also addressed the ongoing crisis at the southern border. He criticized the Biden administration’s open borders policies, which he believes led to the worst crisis in history. Furthermore, Cruz condemned the Democrats for blocking legislation that could have prevented such incidents from happening. He believes that the Democrats’ open borders policies will only lead to more death and suffering.
On Tuesday, Biden announced that 1,500 US troops would be deployed to the southern border to provide administrative and transport support for law enforcement, which was done after White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre insisted that the border was secure. Senator Cruz believes that this policy won’t help the ongoing border crisis.
