California liberals are back at it, and this time, they’ve outdone themselves. It’s not enough that they’ve already turned their beautiful state into a playground for the far left. Now, a new Democrat-backed bill would force every taxpaying Californian to cough up cash so that illegal aliens can have free lawyers when facing removal from the country. That’s right—while average citizens are struggling to pay their own legal bills, California politicians want to guarantee legal representation to people who broke the law just by crossing the border.
Let’s make this clear: hard-working families in California are scraping by, paying some of the highest taxes in the country, and what do they get? Crumbling roads, soaring crime, and now, the honor of footing the bill for people who aren’t even here legally. For the folks running the “once-Golden State,” protecting American citizens seems to be the last priority. Their new mission? Bending over backwards for anyone except their own people.

This isn’t lost on anyone with an ounce of common sense. Liberals claim this is about fairness or “human rights,” but in reality, it’s just another example of globalists putting America last. Try telling a struggling small business owner in Sacramento or a family facing eviction in Los Angeles that their taxes are going to pay for fancy lawyers for illegal aliens. See how well that goes over.
The hypocrisy is astonishing. These are the same politicians who can’t find the money to fix homelessness, can’t keep the streets safe, and can’t even pick up the trash. But suddenly, when it comes to making life easier for illegal aliens, they act like California has money to burn. One could almost think they’re trying to turn California into a magnet for every illegal in the world—on the average American’s dime.
If this is the future the left wants, what comes next? Free houses for illegal aliens while veterans sleep on sidewalks? Don’t put it past them. If Californians don’t wake up and demand sanity, the state might as well hang a welcome sign on the border: “Break our laws, and we’ll pay your legal fees.” Why do Democrat lawmakers keep rewarding lawbreakers while ignoring the citizens they’re supposed to serve?
