Gov. Gavin Newsom and his Hollywood pals like Jane Fonda are practically foaming at the mouth. To the left’s eco-warriors, fossil fuels are basically evil. But the truth is, liberals don’t care about working families crushed by $7 gas or rolling blackouts. They want clean energy fairytales, climate conferences, and bragging rights in Europe. Meanwhile, middle-class folks in Bakersfield and beyond just want to keep their cars running and the lights on.
