California has done it again, folks. The California State University system has reportedly splurged an eye-watering $42 million on legal aid for illegal immigrants and their kin. Yes, you read that right. They’re digging into taxpayer pockets to bankroll the legal defenses of people who broke into our great nation, and it’s likely that the bill is now even higher. If that doesn’t make your blood boil, just consider why students are drowning in debt. How can universities cry about needing more money when they are funneling massive funds to lawbreakers who shouldn’t even be here?
There’s no shortage of colleges lining up to lend a hand to illegal immigrants. They’re sending the message loud and clear: laws don’t matter as long as you hold the right political agenda. It seems integrity and respect for American values have been tossed aside for leftist ideals that place non-citizens above the interests of hardworking American families. Instead of promoting an America-first agenda, they are giving away scholarships and resources that American students desperately need. How is that fair? Shouldn’t our students, struggling with escalated tuition fees and the high cost of living, be prioritized?
California State Universities Spent $42M on Illegals? #illegalaliens #steal. They are guilty, they should all be rounded up, they should all be deported without exception… Every one of them. #democrat voters caused this to happen; hold them accountable. https://t.co/1No3xBKT2N

Further adding insult to injury, these practices might just stand in violation of federal law. Reports suggest that both the Department of Justice and the Department of Education are sniffing around these universities, which could lead to a much-needed shake-up. If these investigations conclude what appears obvious, these universities could face the ax on federal funding. One can only hope this results in reformation that puts American students back at the forefront.
Meanwhile, many Americans are struggling to make ends meet. They are facing climbing rents, rising tuition, and overwhelming college debts. Yet, in the chaotic whirlwind of liberal ideology, California stands firm in misappropriating funds for those who broke the law to arrive here. They must think themselves too noble to bother with the interests of the very citizens they’re supposed to serve. Why should your tax dollars pay for this madness? Why should our citizens stand by while funds for their education are siphoned off to aid those who disregard our laws?
No more bending backward for those who won’t respect American laws and borders. College funds should support American students, not those who shouldn’t be here in the first place. It’s time California and other universities across the nation learn that laws are not merely suggestions. And it’s high time they remembered where their loyalties should lie: with the American people. Are they listening, or does this fall on deaf, liberal ears once again?
