The brutal death of eight Mexican soldiers at the hands of cartel terrorists is another damning reminder of the chaos and carnage taking place right on our doorstep. These brave soldiers were victims of a violent war waged by ruthless cartels, who have turned their land into a battlefield, filled with IEDs and booby-trapped drones. Under President Biden’s weak border policies, this madness bleeds right into our own neighborhoods, infecting our streets with crime and drugs. How many more lives will be lost before we wake up and secure our borders?
It’s infuriating to see Mexico’s government struggling against these heavily-armed cartels while our leaders sit idly by, refusing to give the support needed to restore peace. It’s a familiar dance—global elites wag their fingers at violence but refuse to take the necessary actions to control it. They ignore the violence to protect their open-border liberal fantasies, all while everyday citizens pay the price.

The shocking rise in use of IEDs in Mexico—over a thousand seized in recent years—should alarm every American. This explosion has claimed more lives, shattered families, and yet, the liberals remain silent as the situation spirals out of control. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds, demanding gun control here at home but ignoring the real and present threat of heavily armed cartels just a few hundred miles south.
With the cartels arming themselves with more ruthless tactics, it’s time we asked what the cost of these policies is? Towns emptying out, communities hiding in fear, and economies dismantled by terror. How can an administration that professes empathy ignore the cries for help?
We cannot let the incompetence and weakness of liberal leadership put us at risk any longer. America’s safety should not be sacrificed at the altar of political correctness. Isn’t it time we demanded strength? Isn’t it time we stood up for what really *protects* our families and our future?
