CEO Brutally Attacked by Illegal Uber Driver Highlights Immigration Crisis

Another illegal immigrant has violently attacked an innocent American citizen, and this time it happened right inside an Uber car. Bryan Kobel, a successful biotech CEO, was brutally assaulted by a Russian illegal named Vadim Nikolaevich Uliumdzhiev in Charleston, South Carolina back in April. The whole shocking attack was caught on camera for the world to see.

The assault started when Kobel tried to bring his service dog into the Uber ride. When the illegal driver refused and Kobel asked to cancel the trip, Uliumdzhiev completely lost control. Video shows this violent criminal grabbing Kobel by the throat, headbutting him, and punching him until both the CEO and his dog were knocked unconscious to the ground.

This is exactly what happens when our broken immigration system fails to protect Americans. Uliumdzhiev had no right to be in this country in the first place. He was living here illegally and using a completely fake driver’s license to work for Uber.

Uber’s so-called background checks are a complete joke. Despite requiring valid licenses and Social Security numbers, this dangerous illegal immigrant sailed right through their system using fraudulent documents. The company cares more about cheap labor than keeping Americans safe from violent criminals.

After the attack, Uliumdzhiev was arrested but only had to pay a measly ten thousand dollar bond before being released back onto our streets. It took Immigration and Customs Enforcement stepping in to finally detain this criminal in Georgia. Where was the justice for the victim who ended up in the hospital with a concussion.

The most outrageous part is how Uber treated the actual victim in all this. Instead of supporting Kobel, the company suspended his account and then completely deactivated it. Even after he provided hospital records and police reports proving the attack, Uber chose to blame the victim instead of taking responsibility.

Now Kobel is rightfully suing Uber for allowing this nightmare to happen. His lawyers are demanding answers about how an illegal immigrant with fake documents was able to access their platform and assault passengers. Every American has the right to expect basic safety when using these services.

This case shows exactly why we need strong border security and real immigration enforcement. When companies prioritize profits over American safety, innocent people get hurt. It is time for Uber and every other corporation to put American citizens first instead of cutting corners with illegal workers.
