Staff ReportsXi Jinping’s regime in China has finally done something right by firing Li Chenggang, their loudmouth trade negotiator. It’s no surprise that Li’s disrespectful antics got him canned, though. When U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent pointed out that Li seemed unhinged, China had no choice but to act. Li’s behavior was flat-out embarrassing, and his recent dismissal is proof that even Beijing couldn’t put up with his nonsense any longer.
For too long, the Chinese have been playing hardball at the expense of American interests. Li’s attempts to bully his way into high-level meetings in Washington, demanding this and that, crossed a line. He thought he could walk in, spout off his propaganda, and use incendiary language without any pushback. Well, Xi just showed him who’s boss. This is exactly the kind of chaos you get when liberal foreign policies coddle China too long.

And, let’s be clear, the Chinese government’s PR spin isn’t fooling anyone. They’re trying to paint this as more bullying from the U.S. Please. The real bullying has been China’s relentless imposition of absurd tariffs on American goods. Our farmers and manufacturers are the ones taking the hit, while mainstream media conveniently looks the other way. Thankfully, the Trump Administration, back then, pushed back, making it clear that America won’t be trampled.
You have to wonder still what the liberals are thinking. Are they really so naive as to think that cozying up to China will get them anywhere? President Trump’s talk about reinstating tariffs shows America is ready to make real deals again, not just bow to Beijing’s whims. This isn’t about being nice in negotiations; it’s about standing firm for the American worker.
When will the globalists get the message? Our trade policies need teeth, not pandering. Li’s melodramatic exit from the world stage couldn’t have come soon enough. Is there a better way to remind the world that America leads, China follows?
