Chris Cuomo, not exactly a stalwart of conservative principles, shocked everyone when he took aim at a prominent Democrat. On his show, Cuomo lambasted Senator Chris Murphy for pointing fingers at President Trump over budget cuts supposedly linked to the tragic Texas floods. Even Cuomo, who isn’t usually on the Trump train, couldn’t believe Murphy’s audacity to politicize a disaster for a cheap shot. It’s laughable yet tragic, watching Democrats scramble to blame Trump for anything under the sun rather than standing up and taking responsibility.
Is Senator Murphy really concerned about the victims, or is he too busy scoring political points? When tragedy strikes, what people need is compassion and action, not partisan finger-wagging. The National Weather Service assured that staffing was adequate during the Texas flood, so blaming Trump for something outside his control seems desperate. To use the loss of innocent lives as ammunition in a political skirmish is heartless and shows a deep disconnect from what’s truly important.
Accurate weather forecasting helps avoid fatal disasters. There are consequences to Trump’s brainless attacks on public workers, like meteorologists. https://t.co/CRteXdFvL0

It’s not just Murphy who’s swaying in this misguided dance. Democrats like Rep. Joaquin Castro and Governor Jay Inslee joined the chorus, singing more of the same old tune: climate change and Trump are to blame. While everyone agrees the climate is evolving, using every natural disaster to push political agendas only obfuscates the real issues. These liberal figureheads should focus on solutions instead of wagging fingers. Governing is about more than grandstanding; it’s about serving the people.
This trend of using President Trump as a scapegoat for everything has become tiresome. Democrats have held onto this obsession long enough without realizing it only further distances them from the American people. The public is tired of hearing the same excuses and is beginning to see through the facade. A real leader rolls up their sleeves and works, rather than shifting blame whenever the going gets tough.
Doesn’t America deserve better than playing the political blame game? At the end of the day, liberal tactics speak volumes about their lack of true leadership. Their time would be better served actually working on issues that matter before 2026 rolls around, and they face another reckoning at the polls.
