In a shocking turn of events, CIA Director Bill Burns is under fire from Republican lawmakers after a whistleblower spilled the beans on the agency’s alleged interference in a federal investigation related to Hunter Biden. The House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan have thrown down the gauntlet and demanded answers from the CIA head honcho.
Whistleblower Alleges CIA Blocked Investigators From Interviewing Hunter Biden Associate During Tax Probe

According to the Republican lawmakers, the CIA reportedly put the kibosh on IRS and DOJ investigators’ plans to grill Patrick Kevin Morris, an associate of Hunter Biden, in connection to an inquiry into the first son’s suspected shadiness with taxes. The snitch claims that, in August 2021, as the IRS was gearing up to chat with Morris, the CIA swooped in and slammed the brakes on the interview. It’s been alleged that a couple of DOJ bigwigs were summoned to CIA headquarters for a sit-down regarding Morris, during which they were allegedly told to keep their mitts off of him because he couldn’t be involved in the probe.
The lawmakers are scratching their heads, unsure of why the CIA decided to butt in, but they’re adamant that this fits the pattern of the DOJ straying from its usual playbook during the Hunter Biden investigation. They’re not buying the CIA’s intervention and have pointed out that it meshes with other evidence of the DOJ going off-script.
Adding fuel to the fire, a recorded interview with Morris earlier this year spilled the tea that the Hollywood hotshot and Democratic cash-slinger crossed paths with Hunter Biden at a 2019 campaign bash and then promptly threw at least $5 million at the first son to cover his tax mess and splurge on personal stuff.
To top it all off, Morris’s staggering financial support for Hunter Biden has ruffled a few feathers, raising ethical and campaign finance red flags for President Joe Biden himself. Comer didn’t hold back, declaring, “Kevin Morris’s massive financial support to Hunter Biden raises ethical and campaign finance concerns for President Joe Biden.” He went on to slice and dice the details, pointing out that soon after cozying up to Hunter at a Joe Biden campaign shindig, Morris started footing Hunter’s tax bill, which conveniently shields good ol’ Joe from any political blowback. The clincher? Morris let slip that he’s “loaned” the prez’s kid an eye-popping $5 million, with no pressure for him to pay it back until after the next presidential showdown, and the loans could even get wiped clean. Talk about a quid pro quo!
The Republicans are wrapping up their demand for answers by aiming for the jugular, calling for all communications and paperwork linked to the DOJ and/or IRS sweep into Hunter Biden, and anything connected to Morris, to be coughed up by April 4. The battle lines are drawn, and it looks like the fur’s about to start flying!
