Rather than report objectively, Bash leaned heavily into her role as a defender of the Democratic regime, attempting to dismiss legitimate concerns raised by Lara Trump, who represents a stark contrast to Bash’s partisan narrative. Instead of engaging in a fair debate, Bash’s interruptions mirrored a trend seen in liberal media outlets where conservative voices are rarely allowed to finish their points uninterrupted.
Lara Trump, a Republican National Committee co-chair and daughter-in-law of former President Trump, didn’t shy away from calling out the administration’s failings amidst the ongoing disaster. She highlighted the desperation felt by those in North Carolina who are grappling with the aftermath of the hurricane.
