Raymond Kohn, a fearless stuntman, made thousands cheer in Somerset, Kentucky. He blasted a “Dukes of Hazzard”-style General Lee car over a town fountain. This wild jump showed true American guts and skill.
The stunt happened during Somernites Cruise, Kentucky’s big car festival. Over 35,000 fans packed the streets to watch. Kohn aimed his orange Dodge Charger straight at a ramp near Fountain Square.
The car shot through the air like a rocket, soaring 150 feet. Blue fountain water sprayed everywhere as it flew. A photographer barely dodged the landing zone just in time.
Kohn runs the Northeast Ohio Dukes group. He’s made 30 jumps in General Lee replicas. His longest flight was 217 feet! This daredevil loves risking it all for the crowd.
“It’s life or death up there,” Kohn said later. He just focuses on hitting the ramp perfectly. True heroes ignore the naysayers and push limits.
The car slammed into barricades after landing. It got banged up but Kohn walked away fine. No injuries were reported at the scene.
This jump felt like classic Americana—standing up to the rules just like the Dukes did. It’s about freedom and fun, not government restrictions.
Kohn wants to jump with President Trump next. Now that would be a patriotic show for real Americans!
