Can CNN stoop any lower? The once-respected news network continues its nosedive into irrelevance. The latest meltdown involves a panel discussion that turned into a circus fueled by race-baiting nonsense. Abby Phillip and Ana Navarro, both supposed beacons of liberal wisdom, went after a panelist simply for stating an inconvenient truth. Their reactions were as predictable as they were disappointing.
A panelist had the audacity to suggest that calling Trump’s presidency a “reign of terror” might be a tad hyperbolic. Instead of countering with evidence or reason, Navarro fired back, dismissing his viewpoint because of the color of his skin. That’s right. In their world, being a “white man” invalidates your voice. This reckless rhetoric has no place in a civilized discussion and is a glaring example of the left’s twisted agenda.
This scenario plays out like a bad rerun. Navarro, a multi-millionaire TV host who has enjoyed all the benefits America has to offer, suddenly becomes the spokesperson for a ‘struggling brown community.’ Immigrating legally to the U.S., attending prestigious schools, and making it in mainstream media, yet she claims victimhood. Meanwhile, the rest of us scratch our heads at this distortion of reality.

Abby Phillip’s role in this fiasco can’t be ignored. One would think as a host, she might aim for balance. Nope. Instead, she doubles down, essentially defending Navarro’s outlandish claim. This kind of coverage is what makes their ratings go down while conservative voices like Greg Gutfeld dominate. Viewers see right through this charade, and it’s not Fox News they’re switching to out of ignorance, but out of a need for a voice that holds the line on truth.
As CNN becomes more of an echo chamber for anti-American bias and hype, viewers should demand better. When will mainstream media learn that race-baiting isn’t insightful conversation? How long will it take before they realize that common folks are turning off their TVs because they’ve had enough? While CNN spins its wheels in the mud of its own making, conservatives have rightly chosen to move on to voices that reflect reality out there.
