Enough is enough — hardworking Americans are watching our cities fray while the left and legacy media cheer on chaos. Tom Basile made the right call on America Right Now: conservatives must stop playing defense and start winning hearts and minds with transparency, facts, and a disciplined message about secure borders and public safety.
Basile reminded viewers of the double standard in coverage by showing a 2016 ICE ride-along that was treated as routine reporting then, and contrasting it with the current, reflexive vilification of federal agents today. That gap in coverage is not an accident — it’s a political choice that leaves Americans misled and communities exposed.
The consequences of that dishonest narrative are playing out in Minneapolis, where federal enforcement operations have sparked protests, violent clashes, and intense scrutiny from state and local officials. Border Patrol leadership warned that blocking ICE and encouraging hostility toward federal officers creates real danger and hinders the lawful mission to protect citizens.
Former ICE deputy Madison Sheahan put it plainly on Newsmax: the anti-ICE rhetoric coming from Democrat leaders is fueling unrest and making it harder to remove violent criminals who prey on our neighborhoods. Conservatives should be unapologetic in defending agents who enforce laws while demanding accountability when mistakes happen — but we will not let political theater handcuff enforcement.
At the same time, a new phenomenon is complicating enforcement: civilians armed with smartphones are documenting raids and sometimes doxing officers, turning surveillance back on the state and creating a chaotic media circus. This is exactly why Basile’s call for data-driven messaging matters — if conservatives flood the zone with clear numbers and transparent procedures, we can cut through the lies and show Americans the record of results.
Newsmax has been a platform where these debates are aired honestly, and Basile’s show has repeatedly pushed back against biased narratives while elevating voices who served in enforcement. The conservative movement must use those platforms to publish arrest totals, criminal records removed from our streets, and outcomes — not just slogans — so the public sees the truth.
Make no mistake: this is a battle for narrative and for safety. Democrats and the media want Americans to feel guilty for wanting law and order, but the majority want secure borders, functioning immigration systems, and police and federal agents who can do their jobs without being demonized. We should push policy and messaging that is unambiguous — enforce the law, deport criminal noncitizens, and be proud of protecting American families.
Patriots, this is our moment to demand both transparency and strength: insist on clear data from DHS and ICE, support reforms that make enforcement smarter, and stand with the men and women who put their lives on the line. Reinforce the immigration message every chance you get — facts win, courage inspires, and together we will reclaim our communities and our country.
