The highly influential Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) made a bold move by endorsing former President Donald Trump for the 2024 presidency. In a fiery statement, CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp declared, “Now is the time to unite and throw our full support behind the candidate who can truly make America great again. CPAC is thrilled to endorse Donald J. As the border crisis worsens, the economy teeters, and our culture is under siege, one individual has once again captured the hearts and minds of conservatives with his unwavering dedication to making America great again.” This statement reflects CPAC’s fervent belief in Trump as the champion to take on Biden and his allies.
While CPAC has maintained amiable relations with other top-tier GOP presidential candidates, Schlapp made it abundantly clear that they regard Trump as the most formidable opponent against Biden and his cohort. He asserted, “Voters have heard the platforms of all the candidates as we strive to rescue America in this critical juncture in our history. President Trump will triumph. He will be the 47th president, and the finest days for America lay ahead.”
