Los Angeles is burning again, and Democrat leaders sit comfortably in their plush offices, watching chaos unfold with a shrug. But the American people, the real patriots, won’t forget who stood by silently or, worse, who excused the violence. The city streets are like a warzone, thanks to a weak-kneed response from those in power. But now, there’s a new voice bringing sanity back to the conversation. Republican Congresswoman Young Kim has dared to demand accountability where it desperately lacks.
When ICE, those unsung heroes, bravely began targeting criminals who shouldn’t be in this country to begin with, the liberal outrage machine roared to life. The very same criminals the Democrats seem so keen to protect were the ones with prior violent convictions. Yet, while innocent American lives hang in the balance, the left continues to obstruct and whine about so-called “peaceful protests” that result in looting, arson, and bloodshed on our streets.
The spineless reactions from California’s leaders, like Governor Newsom and Mayor Bass, are more than disappointing—they’re downright dangerous. Their sanctuary city nonsense is nothing more than an invitation to chaos, an open call for more unrest. By not cooperating with federal authorities, they make their citizens pawns in a perilous game that grants more rights to criminals than law-abiding Americans.

Kim’s resolution is the voice of reason in this liberal cacophony. She demands action, not just lip service. Democrats like Aguilar and Waters talk a big game about condemning violence, but now they need to put their money where their mouths are. If they truly believe in law and order, they’ll stand with Kim and back this resolution that calls for an end to the madness erupting in the very streets they claim to represent.
The National Guard’s deployment was a bold and necessary step—a move that should have been supported, not shunned, by the administration’s detractors. Trump’s decisive action to protect those who respect the rule of law is what leadership looks like. The American ideal of safety and order mustn’t be sacrificed at the altar of political correctness and liberal insanity.
When will the so-called “leaders” on the left wake up and understand that the American people are fed up with their games? Will they finally step up to the plate, or will they continue to cozy up to globalist pipedreams while Rome burns? It’s time they decide whether they support American safety or side with chaos. Because the way things are headed, people are choosing sides. And it’s clear which side America first stands on.
