When the establishment tries to twist the rulebook to fit their narrative, conservatives must stand firm and call them out. The latest example of liberals overreaching can be seen in the current debacle over SNAP benefits. Federal judges, appointed by Democrats, have ordered the Trump administration to raid an emergency contingency fund for America’s food stamp program. But there’s one problem: it’s against the law.
President Trump is doing exactly what he must—asking for clarification on how to legally fund the program. The law is not a buffet where one can simply pick and choose, and liberals seem to forget this when it suits their objectives. They should be reminded that the USDA is bound by legal constraints, which Democrats in the Senate seem eager to ignore.

Despite the loud cries from the left claiming to care about the needy, actions speak louder than words. Democrats refuse to budge from their self-made government shutdown, withholding necessary funding for SNAP recipients. They’ve voted more than a dozen times to keep SNAP in the dark rather than find a practical solution. The simple truth is, the Democrats are hooked on obstructionist tactics, trying to paint the administration as the villain while they play games with the lives of Americans who depend on these benefits.
Democrats are more interested in holding out for far-left pipe dreams than fulfilling immediate and critical needs. Their real priorities? Expanding benefits for illegal immigrants and pushing radical social agendas. It’s shameful and absurd that they are willing to let American families suffer while chasing these misplaced priorities.
In this battle of brinkmanship, the left has shown its cards, and it’s clear they are way out of line. If these politicians care about the people, they should end this charade and get to work. After all, isn’t government supposed to serve the people, not the other way around? If Senate Democrats continue to play political games, then maybe it’s time for the people to remind them who they actually work for.
