In yet another chapter of liberal chaos, a Democratic congressman is stirring the pot with an attempt to impeach President Donald Trump. It’s stunning—and not in the good sense!—to see how some members of the Democratic Party have completely lost touch with reality. With Republicans in charge of both the House and Senate, the impeachment of Trump has about as much chance as a snowball in hell. But that didn’t stop Rep. Shri Thanedar from charging ahead, probably to mask the heat from his tough primary race.
This ill-fated impeachment attempt isn’t just an exercise in futility; it’s a glaring example of political grandstanding. Thanedar has been under fire for animal cruelty allegations and, like clockwork, he pulls out impeachment articles in a desperate bid to win favor. Poor judgment seems to be an epidemic among some Democrats these days. Even his colleagues are frustrated by his antics, labeling them irrelevant and dumb. When Democrats start tearing into each other, you know things are bad.
And who can blame them? This is a mess of Thanedar’s own making. His resolution forces fellow Democrats into a tight spot. They’d look ridiculous supporting a failed attempt, yet risk backlash from their own base if they don’t. Thanedar’s selfish move echoes incompetence at its finest, forcing them to make tough decisions for no reason other than serving his own interests.

What makes all this even more laughable is the fact that Trump himself has been poking holes in their plan through the megaphone he’s always loved: social media. As he rightfully pointed out, these liberal “whackjobs” don’t even know what they would impeach him for. He hits them where it hurts, calling out their failure to manage borders, inflation, and their catastrophic foreign policy moves.
It’s high time Republicans start fighting fire with fire. Why allow career politicians who are married to the idea of sabotaging their political opponents to remain unchecked? The Democrats, with their delusions of grandeur and endless witch hunts, need a wakeup call. Perhaps the question isn’t whether Trump should still be in office, but why these out-of-control Democrats keep getting elected.
