When Americans hoped politics might be left at the church door, the so-called leaders of the Democrat Party proved, once again, that they simply can’t help themselves. At the funeral of the late Jesse Jackson, Democrats like Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris exploited the somber event for one of their favorite pastimes: bashing President Trump. It didn’t matter that the day was meant for remembering a man’s life, or that the family was grieving. No, for the Left, every chance to score political points, even at a funeral, takes priority over respect and decency.
The most embarrassing part? Jesse Jackson’s own son wasn’t buying their act, calling them out for their shameless behavior. While the liberal elite patted themselves on the back for more anti-Trump bluster, Jackson’s son saw it for what it was: an obnoxious, self-serving display. Regular Americans have watched this circus play out again and again. Even now, at a memorial meant for unity and sorrow, the Democratic leadership showed they care more about stirring up petty attacks than honoring the dead.

This isn’t just rude—it’s another clear sign of the Left’s anti-American values. Obama, Biden, and Harris can’t let go of their obsession with Trump, not even for a few hours. Their default setting is division. They love to remind everyone how much they despise half of the country, even if it means turning a funeral into just another campaign rally. These are supposed to be the “adults in the room,” yet they can’t act with basic dignity when it counts most.
Liberals love to talk about tolerance and empathy, but their actions always tell the real story. When they’re gifted the national stage, they squander it—using a family’s grief as a prop for cheap shots. This isn’t leadership. It’s self-indulgence, and it exposes the rot at the core of modern Democratic politics: globalist pandering, anti-American rhetoric, and a total lack of respect for old-fashioned values or real unity.
If the Democrats can’t control themselves even at a funeral, why should anyone trust them to unite the country? The Left’s cruelty and obsession with power know no boundaries. All that’s left to ask is—how low will they go next?
