Democrats Plot to Replace Biden as Approval Plummets and Election Looms

With the evidence piling up that President Joe Biden’s physical and mental faculties are beyond the point of no return, the whispers of his replacement before the November election grow louder by the day. At 81 years old, Biden is seemingly on the verge of being nudged out by the puppet masters in his own party.

Daily Mail has reported on what they’re calling a “secret Democrat plot” to eject Biden from the running and slide in a more viable candidate from within their ranks. The likes of Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer are apparently the only figures deemed influential enough to push Biden out.

Internally, some Democrats think this could work if handled with laser precision, while others acknowledge the inherent risks and complications. To keep things under wraps, the Democratic Party has opted for an online nomination and virtual roll call to officially select Biden ahead of their convention in Chicago come mid-August. This virtual charade would allow them to switch candidates more seamlessly if the need arises. They’d parade this new nominee in a grandiose public event, presumably endorsed by the party’s top brass. Interestingly, Vice President Kamala Harris is not the frontrunner for this replacement role, adding another layer of confusion to this circus. Harris’s endorsement would be crucial in a transfer of power, which is, to say the least, a tall order given her own ambitions.

Not pulling any punches, political strategist Roger Stone has been vocal about his prediction that Biden will be axed before the 2024 election. With Biden’s approval ratings in the dumpster and his frequent public blunders, the Democratic Party is scrambling to patch together an alternative plan with less than five months on the clock.

Stone highlights Biden’s obvious age-related gaffes and hints that the likelihood of Biden stepping aside—through a “courageous” decision not to run again—has never been higher. According to Stone, this grand exit might come just before the convention, setting the stage for a dramatic Democratic pivot.

Meanwhile, polling guru Nate Silver chimes in that while a last-minute dropout from Biden bears its own risks, parading him for another term is an even larger gamble. Silver, who’s practically the Nostradamus of election cycles, points out that Biden’s twilight years are far from the ideal time to be asking for votes to run the country until he’s 86.

Among the potential rescuers of the Democratic campaign, former First Lady Michelle Obama and California’s Governor Gavin Newsom are making the rounds in speculation circles. Stone, while cautiously noting that Michelle Obama isn’t confirmed to be running, suggests that the Democrats might beg her as their Hail Mary to prevent a Trump resurgence.

Polling strategist Mark Penn puts it succinctly: this June 27 presidential debate between Biden and Trump is the ultimate battleground. Penn believes it will be the Americans’ litmus test to decide if Biden is worthy of another term or if it’s time to show him the door.
