The Democratic machine strikes again, folks. A Democrat-appointed Senate Parliamentarian has just slashed into the heart of the Trump-supported “Big, Beautiful Bill.” It’s another glaring example of how Democrats keep obstructing Republican efforts to govern, even when the GOP is supposed to be in charge. With President Trump spearheading a second term, this is yet another roadblock in his path, placed by those who despise American greatness.
Elizabeth MacDonough, the Democrat darling appointed by the late Harry Reid, took her axe to core Republican provisions. Key efforts to restrict Medicaid funding for illegal immigrants and halt the travesty known as “gender-affirming care” have been viciously stripped out. If that wasn’t enough, she also obliterated attempts to cut funding for sanctuary cities, further enabling lawlessness in this country. It’s no surprise that many are now questioning her impartiality, or lack thereof.
🚨 BREAKING: John Thune officially declines overruling or firing the Senate Parliamentarian, appointed by Democrat Harry Reid in 2012, after she strikes a dozen or more MAGA items from the Big Beautiful Bill.

The obliteration of crucial parts of this package doesn’t just stall ideology. It derails crucial budget measures designed to curb future deficits. By gutting these provisions, MacDonough places future economic stability in jeopardy. But let’s not forget—this was never about what’s best for America. It’s about stymying any success conservatives might achieve, even if it means tearing down the framework that keeps this nation secure and prosperous.
What’s really shocking is Senate Majority Leader John Thune’s decision to stand by and let this travesty unfold. Instead of taking a bold stance and removing MacDonough to protect the bill’s integrity, Thune shies away, claiming it would threaten the package’s success. Yet, what’s the point of passing a butchered bill? It’s a sellout to progressives and leaves conservative values in the dust.
MacDonough’s actions are a blow to democracy as liberal double standards persist. If this were flipped and Democrats were in power, you can bet she’d be out the door. Instead, with Republicans at the helm, hands are tied. This mockery must end. Thune needs to gather some backbone and fight back, or risk allowing the Democrats to govern from the sidelines. The path forward isn’t easy, but rewriting and fighting for core conservative values is non-negotiable. The burning question remains: when will Republicans finally start playing by the same rules as their opposition?
