Donald Trump is facing yet another indictment as his legal team meets with officials from the Biden Justice Department. The meeting’s details and reason for its request are still unknown, but many suspect that the former President is preparing to brace himself for another false legal action by the Democrats. The most recent charges against Trump relate to removing classified materials from the White House, which were mainly mementos he collected during his time serving the country in the presidency, such as cocktail napkins and state dinner menus. Though Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has already indicted Trump on hush money violations, the campaign finance charge’s statute of limitations has long expired. Therefore, he factored in the COVID pandemic to elevate the initial misdemeanor charges Trump was facing into felonies. Most cases of this nature never go to trial, resulting in a proverbial slap on the wrist. It makes one wonder how far the Democrats will stretch the law and bend the rules to ensnare someone they detest politically and personally.
The fact that Trump’s legal team requested a meeting with Attorney General Merrick Garland and his people is more than just a casual meeting. It is a signal that another indictment is coming, casting a massive red flag for the former President. Before the meeting, Trump even spoke in an audio recording about the items he removed from the White House. As Trump reels from the blows of the legal system, he must face the reality that he is likely to face more malicious attacks.
The point of all these legal actions is not to throw Trump in jail – that would be the liberal ideal scenario – but to neutralize the GOP in preparation for 2024. The Democrats aim to trap Republicans by stirring up their voters with these bogus legal actions to usher Trump as the 2024 nominee. This strategy aims to render him campaign ineffective for the entire cycle of presidential elections, by animating Republican voters, rightfully outraged by these false charges. Even if Trump emerged as the most polished politician by the next elections, it would not pivot away from the fact that he faces monumental legal problems just as the 2024 season becomes serious.

If the Democrats can make up laws and stretch them beyond their limits to get Trump charged and indicted for hush money scenarios, it would be easy to get him in the classified documents investigation. The question is, how prepared are the Republicans for this increasing crackdown by the Democrats against their party? We don’t know the answer, and with the likelihood of more bogus legal actions and attacks against Trump looming, it’s essential to be prepared for anything. After all, the last thing the country needs is to have its legal system abused by a political party to gain power.
