In a stunning turn of events, the Palm Beach Post tried to take a swing at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, but ended up hitting itself right in the face with a major blunder. The newspaper ran a piece accusing the DeSantis administration of spending more on a healthcare dashboard tracking illegal immigrant healthcare costs than the actual healthcare itself. Talk about a swing and a miss!
But here’s where it gets juicy: the Palm Beach Post had to do some serious ninja editing to cover up their mistake. They quietly scrubbed the accusation from the column without a single mention of a correction. Sneaky, sneaky. It’s like they thought no one would notice. Well, newsflash, Palm Beach Post – we see you, and your attempt to save face isn’t fooling anyone.

Governor DeSantis didn’t let this slide. He called out the Palm Beach Post for their shady tactics and demanded they own up to their error. And let’s be real here, folks – when the media messes up, they need to own it. Trying to sweep it under the rug just makes them look even more incompetent than they already are. DeSantis wasn’t having any of it, and he shouldn’t. As a conservative, he’s used to the biased attacks from the left-wing media, but this was just a new level of ridiculousness.
The Palm Beach Post may have thought they could pull a fast one on Governor DeSantis, but they clearly underestimated his ability to call them out on their baloney. This whole debacle just goes to show the lengths some in the media will go to try and smear a conservative leader. But hey, the truth always has a funny way of coming to light, no matter how hard they try to hide it.
