Ron DeSantis, the Republican Governor of Florida, is making headlines for pledging to “shut the border down.” While many thought that only Texas Gov. Greg Abbott would be taking this stance, DeSantis is making it his mission to stop the influx of illegal immigrants. Speaking at Iowa Senator Joni Ernst’s annual “Roast and Ride” event, the Florida Governor said, “We will build a border wall. We will end mass migration into this country. And we will hold the Mexican drug cartels accountable for the carnage they have unleashed on the American people.” It’s about time that a strong, conservative leader steps up to the plate and addresses this issue that is causing chaos in our country.
DeSantis didn’t stop there. He also talked about the “woke agenda” being imposed on our military and promised to “rip it all out” if he becomes commander-in-chief. As a former member of the United States Navy, DeSantis has seen first-hand the honor and pride that comes with serving your country. However, he doesn’t believe that politics and wokeness should have any place in our military. It’s time to get back to basics, improve morale, and get people excited to join the military again.
DeSantis is not afraid to stand up for what he believes in and make bold statements. He’s not just another politician who panders to the masses. He’s a true conservative leader who puts America first. It’s no wonder that many polls show former President Donald Trump having a substantial lead over his rivals. Conservatives are tired of politicians who talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. DeSantis is the real deal.

As the 2024 Presidential election approaches, it’s clear that DeSantis is a front-runner for the Republican party. His leadership and dedication to conservative principles is exactly what our country needs. He’s not afraid to take on the tough issues and make the hard decisions. We need more leaders like DeSantis who will put America and its citizens first.
