When we think of betrayal, we don’t usually look north. But maybe we should. While the rest of us are gearing up for the upcoming Winter Olympics, American athlete Katie Uhlaender is left in the cold. Why? Because it seems like our neighbor, Canada, might have stabbed us in the back by allegedly manipulating the Olympic spot selection for skeleton. Seems like those “nice” Canadians aren’t playing fair. What’s the value of global partnerships if they’re rigged against us?
Here we go again with yet another example of sports gone wrong in the globalist world. It’s always the red tape and rigged systems that catch us off guard. Americans work hard. They push through hurdles. They give it their all. Then, some foreign country pulls a fast one to block a qualified athlete. If true, this move by Canada isn’t just unfriendly; it’s downright un-Canadian. Or maybe that’s just the real Canada when the cameras are turned off.

Skeleton is a tough sport; it requires grit and determination. Our athletes shouldn’t face opponents before they even reach the track. Olympic dreams should be earned on merit, not politics. With such moves from Canada, one must wonder if there’s a pattern of anti-American antics brewing under the polite façade of our neighbors. Isn’t it time we question if some in the international community are using their influence to undermine American aspirations?
Let’s face it—the left loves globalization. They dream of a unified world where everyone plays fair. Yet, when push comes to shove, it’s America that gets pushed. For all their criticism of perceived American arrogance, it seems like other countries aren’t shy about playing dirty games to gain an advantage. The liberal elite keep telling us to toe the globalist line, but they fail to hold these ‘partners’ accountable.
If Canada pulled a fast one here, what’s next? Are we going to let them get away with it? It’s time America stood its ground. Remember, nice guys finish last, but real patriots finish strong. Will Canada keep our stars from shining brightly on the world stage, or will we stand up and reclaim our rightful place?
