There’s never a dull moment when it comes to Democrats backing each other up, no matter how out-of-touch or reckless they get. Now, hard-left Senator Elizabeth Warren is jumping into the Maine Senate primary to prop up liberal favorite Graham Platner. She’s doing this right after Maine’s own Democratic governor, Janet Mills, slammed Platner for his disgusting online comments about women and rape. Apparently, if you’re the right kind of progressive, anything goes—even demeaning women.
Only in the world of radical Democrats could a man catching heat for making flippant remarks about a violent crime get a pat on the back from Elizabeth Warren. This is classic left-wing hypocrisy. For years, these politicians claimed to stand for women’s rights and to “believe all women.” But when one of their own gets caught making ugly comments, the sisterhood goes silent—or worse, circles the wagons and starts tossing out endorsements like candy.

The left doesn’t care about protecting women. For them, it’s all about keeping power inside their progressive clubhouse. Elizabeth Warren’s endorsement is nothing more than an attempt to save face for her party, no matter how much damage it does to the trust voters once had in them. If these were Republican comments, you’d see entire news networks flip out in outrage for weeks. But since it’s a Democrat, the message is: no big deal, keep moving.
Meanwhile, Janet Mills wants to play both sides—attacking Platner in one breath, then never truly holding her own party accountable. This is why trust in our leaders is falling apart. Liberals care more about protecting their buddies than protecting values or victims. It’s a club for elites, not Mainers.
At what point do everyday Americans say, “Enough is enough” to this double standard? When will Democrats admit they’re only interested in protecting their political tribe, not women or families? The left’s crumbling moral high ground is on full display, and they don’t even care. Maybe it’s time Mainers send all these frauds packing.
