They’re packing their bags, selling off properties, and rushing back to sunny California. Turns out, running away from the United States wasn’t nearly as glamorous or comfortable as they expected.
This isn’t just about missing the warm weather. It’s about liberal celebrities trying to slap a political protest on their choices while quietly coming back for the perks they tried to leave behind. Ellen shed her U.S. real estate like dead weight—selling a $30 million California mansion and listing another expensive property. Meanwhile, the tough talk about “not staying until Trump leaves office” is replaced by whispered plans to be back for the holidays and longer. What a shocker. When “protesting” America means enduring cold winters and missing A-list friends, their courage evaporates fast.

If this were just a weather issue, fine. But it’s really about the hollow, self-serving nature of Hollywood elites who pretend to stand on high moral ground while bailing the moment things get inconvenient. Ellen DeGeneres herself is the poster child for the shrubbery of safe liberal spaces collapsing around her. Her once-popular talk show crashed and burned after accusations of toxic workplace behavior and plummeting ratings exposed the smiling mask. That’s the real “Trump effect” – truth coming out and lies being unmasked.
Meanwhile, these leftist celebrities love to lecture Americans about values and patriotism from the high towers of their privilege, only to pack up and run the second a conservative wins an election. Hypocrisy so thick you could cut it with one of Ellen’s former jokes. And now, after fleeing to a foreign land they barely embraced, they’re waving the white flag and crawling back for another dose of California’s sunshine and star-studded social circles.
It’s no wonder grassroots conservatives are fed up. This flight and flight routine from the so-called liberal elite proves just how weak and shallow their convictions really are. They cherry-pick America when it’s convenient and toss it aside like yesterday’s news when it’s not. If they want to live in a socialist utopia, then go all in—don’t hop borders when the going gets tough. America deserves better than these posers who abandon ship but can’t live without the life they swore off.
So, here’s a thought: maybe the next time the leftist crowd pulls their usual tantrum after an election, we don’t waste any sympathy when they pack up and run. America will be just fine without the performance art of flighty Hollywood elites who preach patriotism until it actually means sacrifice.
