In a world where transparency and honesty should be the bedrock of our political system, we’re faced again with a classic example of liberal madness — money exchanged in a crumpled bag of chips, no less. It almost sounds like a script from an old mafia movie, and yet here we are, watching a real-life spectacle unfold under Mayor Eric Adams’ re-election campaign.
Caught in this bizarre act was a former top aide to the establishment’s darling, Eric Adams. The aide was spotted giving a reporter a hidden stash of cash inside the most unsuspecting of vessels: a bag of sour cream and onion chips. Anyone else feeling hungry for justice right about now?
But of course, in typical liberal fashion, the excuse machine went into overdrive. It was just a cultural misunderstanding, they claim. A friendly gesture of money wrapped in crispy fried carbohydrates. Funny how such “culture” only seems to show up when a top Democrat’s integrity is under the microscope.

And let’s not ignore the hypocritical melody playing in the background. Mayor Adams and his campaign were quick to feign shock and suspend this aide as a volunteer. It’s quite a spectacle: declare your innocence with one hand while shuffling the chips (and cash) with the other. Isn’t this the same politician who preached transparency and accountability? Looks like those virtues were also left to rot inside a bag of chips.
While Greco’s house of cards began collapsing with a probe for leveraging positions for perks, the bigger question remains. Why are such characters consistently found in the shadowy corners of liberal power structures? Perhaps instead of looking for methods to hide money, they should focus on creating jobs, securing the border, and restoring some actual political integrity.
One’s left wondering, why does it always seem to be these self-proclaimed defenders of integrity that end up stashing cash? Is it time we stopped excusing incompetence and started holding these so-called public servants accountable? As the saying goes, you reap what you sow. And it’s high time this liberal hypocrisy reaped a bitter harvest.
