Fani Willis Targets Trump: Rigging Trials for 2024 Sabotage?

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is really going for it, folks! She’s proposed a trial date of March 4th for the case against former President Donald Trump and his 18 co-defendants. Now, what’s this case all about, you might ask? Well, it’s all about those ridiculous allegations that Trump and his team tried to overturn Georgia’s 2020 election results. I mean, come on, who in their right mind believes that? But our dear District Attorney sure seems to be eager to prove a point.

But hold on, folks, because it looks like President Trump has other plans. His legal team has been playing a game of trial postponement hopscotch, trying to push the dates past the 2024 presidential election. And who can blame them? Everyone knows Trump is going to make a triumphant comeback and reclaim the presidency in 2024, so why waste time with these silly trials?

Now, here’s where things get even more interesting. Not only does Willis want Trump to show up for the arraignment in September, but she also conveniently scheduled the trial for early March, right around Super Tuesday. Talk about trying to make it impossible for Trump to juggle it all! I guess they want to keep him busy with legal proceedings instead of campaigning for the presidency. Can’t say they’re not crafty, but it all just reeks of dirty politics to me.

But wait, there’s more! Our dear President Trump also has another trial date set for January 2nd, and this one is all about those allegations related to January 6th. It seems like they’re throwing everything they’ve got at him, hoping that something sticks. It’s all a politically motivated witch hunt if you ask me.

Now, let’s talk pardons, folks. Many legal experts are questioning whether Trump could even get a pardon if he’s convicted on any of these counts. According to the University of Georgia School of Law professor Ronald Carlson, Trump would have to serve five years in a Georgia penitentiary before being eligible for a pardon. That’s outrageous! And let’s not forget, the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles plays a role in this as well. They’re the ones who decide if the defendant is eligible for a pardon, and they require the sentence to be completed at least five years prior to applying. Talk about making it nearly impossible for Trump to catch a break!

But hold on, folks, because not everyone agrees with this assessment. Our good friend Mark Levin argues that Trump can actually pardon himself from these Georgia charges if he’s elected president again. He cites the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution and the general silence in the Constitution about whether a sitting president can be indicted. Now, that’s the kind of legal expertise we need!

In the end, it’s clear to see that this case against President Trump and his co-defendants is nothing more than a political circus. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is playing dirty and trying to stack the deck against Trump. But mark my words, folks, this won’t stop our great President from making a triumphant comeback and proving all his haters wrong in 2024!
