The FBI has recently declassified three whistleblowers’ top-secret security clearances after they expressed concerns regarding their agency’s weaponization against conservatives. Agents Marcus Allen and Stephen Friend were scheduled to testify at the House Judiciary subcommittee on the weaponization of the federal government about the FBI’s handling of the January 6th case. However, in a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan, the FBI confirmed the revocation of their top-secret security clearances. Brett Gloss also lost his security clearance two weeks ago after FBI investigators confirmed that he entered a restricted area in the Capitol building on January 6th.

The FBI’s decision to revoke these whistleblowers’ clearances was a retaliatory move against them speaking out about their allegiance to the United States. The FBI’s leadership instructed their agents to focus on pursuing “domestic violent extremism” probes in January 6th cases. It is clear that the FBI is manipulating crime data in domestic terrorism to fit the Biden Administration’s narrative. These agents express their beliefs that the FBI has been weaponized against conservatives, which is not surprising given their recent hostile behavior.

One such example being FBI’s manipulation of crime data on domestic terrorism, to portray certain Americans as terrorists, even if they have never committed a crime in their entire life. Allen and Friend questioned such practices and upheld their oath to the Constitution as they have the right to do so. However, they were interrogated, suspended, and stripped of their top-secret clearance before they could testify in front of the Judiciary subcommittee.
Such behavior by the FBI leadership is an open abuse of power and an assault on the Constitution. Furthermore, this attack has far-reaching consequences, as it creates an atmosphere where officials are afraid of speaking out about any wrongdoing. These whistleblowers’ removal is a clear message that the FBI will go to any length to silence anyone who dares to speak out against government actions. The U.S. government needs to take swift action to stop such vindictive actions and safeguard their citizens’ fundamental rights.
