Born in Arizona and having ties to Phoenix, Castillo was wanted for the tragic murder of his former coworker, 23-year-old Sandy Lee Lei, in Charlotte, North Carolina, back in 2016. It all began when Castillo, just 17 years old at the time, owed Lei around $1,000 after borrowing money from her.
