In a shocking turn of events, 18-year-old Alexander Scott Mercurio was arrested by the FBI over the weekend for scheming to launch a vicious attack on an Idaho church in the name of ISIS. This devious plan was foiled just in time by the swift actions of law enforcement. It’s terrifying to think what could have happened if the FBI hadn’t stepped in to stop this young man’s dangerous plot. It’s a reminder that the threat of terrorism is very real, even right here in our own backyard.
