In a world where chaos seems to reign and woke ideologies have eroded the very fabric of our society, it’s good to see a victory for common sense and safety. The FBI recently thwarted what could have been an unspeakable act of violence—a plan to attack innocent preschool children. We all know how critical it is to be proactive rather than reactive, yet time and again, we watch as the liberal left fails to prioritize the simplest of protections for American families.
Now, of course, it’s important to be clear here. What we’re dealing with is an individual who allegedly made despicable threats about shooting up a preschool and targeting black children. This should disgust anyone with even a shred of decency. But let’s not lose sight of the bigger picture: why did it even get to this point? For far too long, the federal government has been asleep at the wheel, mired in political games and tied up in ridiculous bureaucratic red tape. Thank goodness someone in power was finally paying attention.

The folks out there cheering for the so-called progressive transformations can’t ignore their own hypocrisy forever. This incident sheds light on a desperate cry for a return to law and order. The liberal obsession with “inclusivity” often translates to a lack of action when it’s needed most. We need bold leaders who aren’t afraid to protect Americans and thwart evil before it manifests in our communities.
Director Patel and his team are rightly being commended for their decisive action in averting this tragedy. But it’s a sad state of affairs when such actions appear more as exceptions rather than the rule. Good people all over this nation are sick and tired of the blame game and virtue signaling. What they want and deserve is an administration that prevents threats against our most vulnerable citizens in the first place.
So here we stand, looking the big-government failures square in the eye, grateful that this time was different. The next question we ought to ask ourselves is simple: How many more near-misses will it take before the left accepts that their policies and priorities need a major overhaul?
