Even more chilling: reporting indicates the FBI recorded a 2023 call between Wiles and her attorney where the lawyer reportedly consented but Wiles was not informed, leaving her “in shock” when the file surfaced. This is not routine oversight; it smells like stealth targeting of political adversaries and a contempt for basic legal and ethical norms.
Senator Ron Johnson — who has long warned about weaponized federal probes into Republicans — rightly ripped into the “radical left” and demanded answers, echoing the outrage of millions of Americans who watched the swamp use secrecy to pick off opponents. Conservative lawmakers must turn that anger into action and force full transparency about who authorized these subpoenas and why.
If the bureau under Biden leadership indeed tucked sensitive records away so they could evade discovery, then the recent firings of dozens of implicated employees are only the beginning of what must be a complete housecleaning.
